Computer lab is well equipped with latest technology and Internet facility with broadband connection which paves the way for the students to become self reliant learners and technocrats in the near future. In school, Information Technology has broadened the horizon for the children by taking the learning outside the classroom . Technology Aided Learning at D.A.V Public School, Sec-8C & 39D , Chandigarh is being implemented.

Music and Dance are the two art forms which connect mind, body and soul together.Students are exposed to classical, vocal and instrumental music and also trained in Indian and western dance

I listen : I forget ; I write: I remember; I do: I learn. Science laboratories Physics and Chemistry work on this principle imparting knowledge through experiments being conducted with every chapter. The labs are regularly updated.

The School lab has the provision of well equipped bio lab with all the latest instruments and apparatus required for the experiments. The plant and the animal specimens are shown through virtual media and permanent slides are available as per the current syllabus of all classes.
